The 2021 Chevy Blazer is a fantastic five-passenger mid-size SUV. It has several key features that any driver will find fantastic. The features provide enhanced performance, additional safety, and lots of convenience for the whole family. There are a dozen or more that we could discuss, but we’re going to keep it brief and discuss the features that we found the most impressive.

3 Impressive Features of the 2021 Chevy Blazer

1. Driver Assistance Safety Technology

Any vehicle that’s worthy of praise has safety technology these days. However, not every vehicle has standard safety tech. Luckily, the Chevy Blazer has some standard features. On all Chevy Blazer models, you’ll find an HD rearview camera, a tire-pressure monitor, emergency braking, and rear parking assistance. These are wonderful everyday features that will be useful on almost every journey.

If you want further safety functions you can pay for an upgrade. With an upgrade, you’re getting forward-collision alert, side blind-sone alert, lane change alerts, and lane-keeping assistance. The blind-zone alert in particular is highly useful, which all drivers will benefit from almost on a daily basis. We feel that getting an upgrade is worth it for the blind-spot alert alone.

2. You Can Tow Well

SUVs aren’t known for their towing prowess, but again, the Chevy Blazer isn’t your typical SUV. It can easily handle a 4,500-pound tow load. This is perfect for taking a boat or some jet skis to the beach. It’s also great for someone who works in construction, who occasionally has to transport bricks, wood, and other heavy materials.

If we compare that 4,500-pound capacity to a pickup truck, for example, it exceeds expectations. It’s more than half what a standard mid-size pickup can pull. As SUVs are much lighter than pickups, this is definitely a feature we find dazzling. It’s even more impressive when you consider the next feature we’re discussing.

3. Unbeatable Easy Handling

We all know that smaller vehicles, like sedans and sports coupes, are the easiest to handle. While handling SUVs isn’t difficult, it’s never going to be as comfortable and easy as handling something smaller – or at least that’s what you think. You haven’t met the Chevy Blazer yet, and we can assure you that it handles more like a sports coupe than an SUV.

The reason SUVs are so capable is because they’re built from a pickup truck platform. The Chevy Blazer is different, it’s built from a car platform instead. This gives it better handling, superior maneuverability, and a more comfortable ride overall. Despite the car platform, the Chevy Blazer is still more powerful than a coupe or sedan; we find this noteworthy. You get sports coupe comfort, but SUV performance.Does the Chevy Blazer intrigue you? Come and see us at Bacon Auto Ranch or call our sales team at 903-374-3345 and we’ll arrange a test drive.
