Trim Levels of the 2025 Chevy Colorado

There are five trims of the 2025 Chevy Colorado. Each one is strong, stylish, and well-equipped, but they also have plenty of differences that'll appeal to different drivers. For example, the higher the trim, the better its off-road performance is. Higher trims also have more convenience features than lower ones.

Trim Levels of the 2025 Chevy Colorado

WT

The WT is the Colorado's base trim. Like all the other trims, it has a 2.7-liter TurboMax engine, which produces 430 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower. All trims, including the WT, can tow up to 7,700 pounds. The WT is equipped with 17-inch wheels with all-season tires.

Inside, you'll find an 11-inch Driver Information Center and an 11.3-inch infotainment center with wireless smartphone connectivity and Google built-in. It also has Chevy Safety Assist that equips six driver assistance features. It has lots of optional equipment available, including a remote locking tailgate, a center console, and a tailgate with EZ-Lift and StowFlex.

LT

The LT has all the features mentioned above, and it adds remote start with keyless open and start, an EZ lift and lower tailgate, and a StowFlex storage box in the bed. The StowFlex box lets you secure cargo extra safely. It also adds an extra USB port from rear passengers, a front center console, and a remote-locking tailgate. There are three convenience packages available that equip some features you'll find on higher trims.

Trail Boss

Adventurers will enjoy the Trail Boss, as it has 18-inch wheels with 32-inch all-terrain tires. It adds four selectable driver modes and an off-road performance display to give you better control on the trails. It also has a 2-inch factory-installed lift and 2-speed auto transfer case and transfer case shield. Its automatic locking rear differential and hill descent control further enhance its performance on the trails.

Z71

You can take things even further in the Z71. It has everything from the Trail Boss trim excluding the 2-inch lift. It adds LED tail lamps, headlamps, and fog lamps, red tow hooks, and a bed-mounted 120-volt power outlet. Its jet black interior with red accents gives the cabin a bolder look. Other interior upgrades include synthetic leather seating and two rear USB ports.

ZR2

The ZR2 is the best Colorado for off-roading. It has 33-inch mud-train tyres on 17-inch wheels, multimatic DSSV dampers, five selectable drive modes, and a 3-inch factory-installed lift with a high-performance suspension. Getting the optional Bison Edition package gives you 35-inch mud-terrain tires, steel undercarriage skid plates, steel front and rear bumpers with a winch mount and recovery points, and several other great off-roading features.

Should You Lease or Finance Your Next Chevrolet? Auto Financing in Athens, TX Explained

Choosing between a lease and a loan is one of the biggest decisions you'll make when shopping for a new vehicle. If you're exploring auto financing in Athens, TX, understanding how each option works can save you money and help you drive away feeling comfortable with your choice. Both paths have their advantages depending on your lifestyle, budget, and how you use your vehicle. Here's a breakdown to help you decide. more What Does It Mean to Finance a Chevrolet? When you finance a vehicle, you're taking out a loan to purchase it outright. You make monthly payments over a set term, and once the loan is paid off, the vehicle is yours. This is a good option for drivers who want long-term ownership and plan to keep their truck or SUV for several years. Chevrolet offers a wide range of vehicles that work well for financing - from the capable Silverado 1500 pickup to the family-friendly Traverse SUV. One of the key vehicle financing tips to keep in mind is that building equity in your vehicle over time can be a real financial advantage, especially if you drive a lot of miles annually. What Does It Mean to Lease a Chevrolet? Leasing is more like a long-term rental. You pay to use the vehicle for a set period - typically 24 to 36 months - and then return it or choose to buy it at the end of the term. Monthly payments on a lease are often lower than those on a traditional auto loan because you're only paying for the vehicle's depreciation during the lease period. This option tends to appeal to drivers who enjoy driving the latest model year. Chevrolet frequently offers competitive lease deals on popular models like the Equinox and Trax. Auto financing comes in many forms, and leasing is worth a look if you prefer lower upfront costs and regular vehicle upgrades. Key Differences to Consider The right choice comes down to a few important factors. Mileage is a big one - leases typically come with annual mileage caps, and you'll pay a fee for going over. If you commute long distances or frequently haul equipment, financing may be the better fit. Customization is another difference. When you finance, you can modify your vehicle however you like since it eventually becomes yours. With a lease, you're expected to return the vehicle in its original condition. One of the most practical vehicle financing tips is to calculate your total cost over time. Leasing may have a lower monthly payment, but financing builds toward ownership, which has long-term value. Which Option Is Right for You? If you love having the latest features and prefer flexibility, leasing may suit you well. If you drive a high number of miles, want to customize your ride, or plan to keep your vehicle for many years, financing is likely the stronger choice. The good news is that Chevrolet offers a broad lineup across both trucks and SUVs, so if you're looking at a Colorado, a Blazer, or a Silverado HD, there's a model and a payment structure that can fit your needs. Reviewing current offers from Chevrolet is a great first step before making any decision. 2026 GMC Acadia vs Chevrolet Traverse: Which SUV Fits Your Lifestyle?

If you're shopping for a three-row family SUV and finding yourself stuck between the GMC Acadia vs the Chevy Traverse, you're not alone. Both are solid mid-size options with a lot to offer, but they're built with slightly different drivers in mind. Here's a closer look at what sets them apart so you can make the right call. more What the 2026 GMC Acadia Brings to the Table The 2026 GMC Acadia is a mid-size SUV that leans into a more premium, capable experience. It's powered by a 2.5L turbocharged engine producing 328 hp and 326 lb.ft. of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Acadia also comes standard with a trailering package that supports up to 5,000 lbs of max trailering capacity - ideal for families who like to bring a boat or camper along on weekends. Add in up to 10 available camera views and available Super Cruise® hands-free driver assistance technology, and you have an SUV that takes both convenience and confidence seriously. Interior Space and Trim Options Inside, the 2026 Acadia seats up to 8 passengers and offers up to 97.5 cu.ft. of maximum cargo volume when the rear seats are folded flat. The standard 15-in touchscreen with Google built-in keeps everyone connected, and the available Bose® 12-speaker premium audio system makes every drive more enjoyable. Trim choices range from the Elevation to the AT4 and on up to the Denali and Denali Ultimate. The Denali Ultimate stands out with heated and ventilated full-leather massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a Bose® 16-speaker Performance Series sound system. This GMC Acadia comparison with the Traverse shows the Acadia generally offers more tech-forward and luxury-oriented options at the higher trims. How the Chevrolet Traverse Compares The Chevrolet Traverse is closely related to the Acadia since both ride on the same platform. However, the Traverse is typically positioned as a more family-budget-friendly option with a slightly larger footprint. It prioritizes spaciousness and practicality, which appeals to buyers who want generous interior room above all else. The Traverse offers its own strong lineup of safety and tech features, but it doesn't match the Acadia's available off-road-ready AT4 trim or the hands-free Super Cruise® technology. Safety and Driver Assistance Features The Acadia vs Traverse conversation wouldn't be complete without talking safety. The 2026 Acadia comes equipped with over 19 safety and driver assistance technologies, including Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control. Both SUVs are designed with families in mind, but the Acadia's robust suite of available features gives it a strong edge for drivers who want added peace of mind on the road. Which One Is Right for You? If you prioritize a smoother, more refined drive with available premium features and off-road capability, the 2026 GMC Acadia is worth a serious look. If you want maximum interior space at a more accessible price point, the Traverse may be the better fit. Drivers throughout Athens, Texas, have plenty of reasons to consider either option. The best way to decide is to experience both vehicles firsthand. The 2026 GMC Acadia is a well-rounded mid-size SUV that checks a lot of boxes for active families and adventure-ready drivers alike.
